Houses of Opportunity equip young people at risk of being exploited and drawn into modern slavery with the skills they need to live successful, independent lives.

There has been a House of Opportunity in Varaždin, Croatia, since 2016. The House is run by our partner organisation Hoću Život (I want life), which was set up by the leadership of Emmanuel Church to serve people in need in the region. As you will see in the stories below, the faithfulness of the brothers and sisters at Emmanuel Church has been rewarded as God has done amazing things in the lives of the young people at the House of Opportunity.

There is a need for more places in the House of Opportunity programme in Varaždin region, and our friends there believe the Lord is calling them to provide for that need. Will your church consider partnering with Emmanuel Church to help run a new House of Opportunity by becoming a regular donor?

By partnering with Emmanuel Church, your church would be helping to expand both the mission and social action that Emmanuel are faithfully undertaking in northern Croatia. If your church could commit to being a regular donor at £25, £50 or £100 per month, that would be an enormous help as we plan ahead with a view to opening the new House of Opportunity in autumn 2024.
